Including You — Connecting Your Government To You
You belong here just as much as anyone else.
Focusing On Your Needs
Getting Digital — What do I need?
You must go where the market is going — online. We will provide you with the internet connection and the equipment to run your business efficiently. We partner with the only Black-led POS company to provide you with wholesale processing rates and hardware.
Accounting — How much does my business need to make?
Embedded in your POS software, you will see how many items you need to sell per hour, day, and month, all based off the cost of your rent. Our goal is to help you become sustainable and we understand that the administrative work that comes with your business is daunting. Our calculator will help you pace yourselves towards a sustainable goal and automate accounting functions. It will tell you when you are spending too much on inventory or staff and even tell you how much time you should spend per customer.
We let your government know about your needs and how much is required for your sustainability and growth for the next five years. We are advocates for Universal Basic Income as gap funding as your business grows.
Getting Paid — How can I contract with my government?
We help organize small businesses as a collective to fill government contracts. Together, small businesses can feed communities, provide health and wellness checks, and overall produce goods and services in culturally competent ways for their communities. Small businesses are needed to capture community dollars to recirculate that money to sustain communities. Our platform sends you a purchase order to bill against for the goods and services that you produce for your community.
Together, we will organize to help our governments maximize by including small businesses as contractors to reduce poverty and homelessness.
Peer Networking — How can I connect with others like me?
Small businesses need to work together to build sustainable communities. You can work with others to plan cultural celebrations and manage resources. Collectively, you can tell the government about safety issues plaguing your businesses or ask your peers for resources on scarce products. Report your issues and we will actively look for solutions with your government and track the progress.
Our platform has democratic processes embedded so that you meet the requirements as a community organization recognized by your government. As a closed environment, your community organizing efforts are encrypted and protected from the public. This is the only portion of the platform that is wholly yours.
Inventory — How can I sell my products on the internet?
We partner with local non-profits to help you digitize everything you buy and sell. This allows us to connect your goods and services to the larger marketplace and help you as a collective get wholesale prices for everything from electricity to onions.
Space — How can I stop from being pushed out?
As a brick and mortar business, we capture all your lease data to let you know whether you are paying too much, or when your lease is going to expire, or how you can negotiate your stay longer, for example. You have access to legal professionals to aid you with any displacement issues.
We can also help you change your business use or request permits. Our goal is to help you stay put so that the community can build off your investments.
You no longer have to face community changes alone.
